Welcome to CopenHill!

CopenHill is an urban mountain placed on top af a state-of-the-art waste-toenergy plant, ARC, which is one of the most unique architectural designs in the world. The plant produces environmental-friendly energy with the newest technology by burning waste and turning the exhaust into energy which yearly provides the city of Copenhagen with electricity for 30,000 households and central heating for 72,000 households.

The Amager Bakke powerplant, is designed by the Danish architect Bjarke Ingels. The process, as designed, is so clean that the facility’s roof has been created to be a recreational area. “CopenHill” has hiking trails, a fitness center and an artificial ski slope on its slanted roof.

At the top of the artificial mountain, there is a restaurant, while our ski center is located at the bottom, compromising of a café and Afterski bar, ski rental as well as the Salomon Brand Store, where you can rent equipment. In this particular Afterski bar and at the ski rental shop, Junckers has installed its 15mm Solid wooden floor Oak Nordic plank by gluing it to the sub floor.
