Qatar University Sports and Event Complex

With a capacity of more than 5000 seats Qatar University Sport and Events Complex is the biggest venue of its kind in Qatar in the Education Segment. The design philosophy is to create a multi-functional building that can serve as a sports venue for curriculum activities at the same time as being a multipurpose hall accommodating the yearly graduation ceremony, major sports events and other events, functions and exhibitions. For the Sport Mode, the Venue with its Main and Training Hall is comprising of more than 30 fixed and portable sport courts for Volleyball, Basketball, Indoor Tennis, Futsal, Badminton, Squash and Handball.

The architect needed a resilient Hard Wood High End Sport Flooring to comply with international and local Certification and Requirements. A strong Solid Wooden Flooring Sport Construction to bear a load of 70 Tones (the retractable platforms)
